PJD to launch RM750m GDV project in Cheras
PJ Development Holdings Bhd (PJD) is expected to launch an integrated development with a gross development value (GDV) of about RM750 million in Cheras by the middle of 2011, said its managing director Wong Ah Chiew last Monday. The 20-acre project will feature commercial units, serviced apartments and a mall, among others.
The developer is awaiting approval for its building plans.

LBI Capital acquiring land in Shah Alam for RM12.9 mil
LBI Capital Bhd is acquiring 50% of a piece of commercial leasehold land in Shah Alam for RM12.9 million. The company said on Oct 12 that it had entered into a conditional sale and purchase agreement with Persatuan Bekas Tentera Malaysia Bahagian Negeri Selangor for the acquisition.

A commercial complex and offices are planned for the 2.6-acre tract, which is still part of a master title held under H S (D) 198274, PT 17 Seksyen 14, Bandar Shah Alam, Daerah Petaling, Selangor. The property is located next to the Shah Alam post office on Persiaran Dato’ Menteri, Shah Alam.

Magna Prima to launch Alam d’16
Magna Prima Bhd is expected to launch a series of property projects between now and the end of 2011, including the upcoming low-density community Alam d’16, on one of the last landed residential property parcels in Shah Alam. The launch of Alam d’16 will give the company a bigger share of the residential property market in Selangor, the company said on Oct 7.

With a gross development value of RM80 million, Alam d’16 will feature 177 units of 2-storey link houses on a 10-acre landscaped site and will be one of the few gated and guarded communities in the vicinity.
