PUTRAJAYA: A special committee will be formed to look into the possibility of having all building structures in government projects to be environment-friendly, said Energy, Green Technology and Water Minister Datuk
Seri Peter Chin Fah Kui.
 
He said the committee would be spearheded by his ministry with the involvement of the the Public Works Department, Natural Resources and Environmment Ministry and Housing and Local Government Ministry to look into the possibility of having school structures, hospitals and government offices "green".

"The government must take the lead and be a role model for others in adopting the "green concept" for building structures," he told reporters on Wednesday June 9.
