DKLS sells Australian property for RM46m

KUALA LUMPUR: DKLS Industries Bhd is selling its commercial property in Melbourne, Australia for A$15 million (RM45.5 million). The sale proceeds would be used for debt repayment.

In a statement to Bursa Malaysia yesterday, DKLS said the property is held under 80%-owned DKLS Aust Trust. DKLS Aust Pty Ltd as trustee for the trust has signed a contract of sale with ZYTT Pty Ltd for the disposal of the real estate along Bourke Street.

DKLS said the disposal is expected to contribute about 0.05 sen to the company’s earnings per share for the current financial year ending Dec 31, 2013.
