Fajarbaru secures RM166 million contract

PETALING JAYA: Construction company Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd on Tuesday, Oct 18 announced to Bursa Malaysia that its wholly-owned subsidiary Fajarbaru Builder Sdn Bhd (FBSB) has received a letter of acceptance dated Oct 14, 2011 from Ampang 210 Sdn Bhd regarding the award of a contract worth RM166.4 million.

The contract is for the proposed design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of medical suite (Phase 1A), basement car park (Phase 1) and common infrastructure/external Works on PT 210, Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur.

FBSB submitted the tender bid jointly together with Aztabina Sdn Bhd, the announcement read.

According to the announcement, the construction period is 24 months and is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of Fajarbaru for FY12, FY13 and FY14 ending June.
