Good response to Sara-Timur’s Prima Lagenda Lifestyle Apartments

KOTA BARU: Sara-Timur Urban Development launched its two-tower condominium project, Prima Lagenda Lifestyle Apartments, on Nov 27 and 80% of Tower A has been booked.

The condominium is within the 40-acre (16.18ha) RM1.2 billion Lagenda Tunjong integrated development that Sara-Timur is developing in partnership with Perbadanan Menteri Besar Kelantan and Tunjong Development Corp. The launch was attended by Tengku Mahkota Kelantan, Dr Tengku Muhammad Fa-iz Petra Sultan Ismail Petra.

“The company has been entrusted to create Lagenda Tunjong, an urban lifestyle haven, providing a major force for economic growth and increased employment and downstream opportunities for the local population,” said Sara-Timur chairman Datuk Zawawi Ismail.

The RM205 million Prima Lagenda sits on 2.5 acres. The two towers will have a total of 343 units, with built-ups ranging from 750 sq ft to 1,490 sq ft. Prices start from RM395,500. The larger units will have a dual key design and are called Annex apartments. These units are split into a 3-bedroom apartment (1,228 sq ft) and a studio apartment (262 sq ft). The condominium is 5km from the Kota Baru central business district. Construction is scheduled to commence on March 1 next year.

Prima Lagenda is set within Lagenda Park, a stroll from the designated “People Spaces” and linked to the retail and commercial sections of Lagenda Tunjong. Lagenda Park will be designed by international landscaped consultant Australia’s Urbis Pte Ltd and is envisaged to be an iconic landmark and a must-visit tourist destination for domestic and regional travellers on completion.

The 40-acre Lagenda Tunjong is an integrated development with residential and commercial units. It will have pedestrian-friendly streets and connectivity to other sections such as the Lagenda Park, Lagenda Commerce Square, CheSiti Village Mall, Lagenda International Hotel, Leisure Centre and Lagenda Galleria. The development is strategically located, which is 10km from Kota Baru airport and is well connected via the major North-South, East-West highways, and to other towns in Kelantan.

Sara-Timur Urban Development is part of Sara-Timur Sdn Bhd, a Sarawakian construction and development firm that has set up its corporate headquarters in Kuala Lumpur to seek greater opportunities in the property market in the peninsula.
