KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 9): A handover ceremony was held by Hua Yang Bhd for the first phrase of its Symphony Heights serviced apartments in Selayang. The event, which took place last Saturday, was held to thank the buyers and to commemorate the completion of the group's first high-rise project in its 33-year history.

In their bid to promote a fire-free environment, Hua Yang distributed a total of 100 fire prevention kits, which comprised of a FIPCOM Fire X 500 extinguisher and a photo-electric smoke alarm to the residents.

Fire Prevention Council of Malaysia (FIPCOM) chairman Datuk Soh Chai Hock and secretary-general Eugene Wong were also present at the event.

"Symphony Heights is our first high-rise project and we are pleased today to be delivering the keys to residents. The fire prevention kits are part of our preventive efforts to create greater awareness and pro-activeness among residents," said Hua Yang sales and marketing manager Loh Chin Hong.

Loh said that construction works for Phase 2 and 3 will be completed by the fourth quarter (4Q) of 2012, and that they will ensure that there will be minimal disruption to the residences of Phrase 1 during the construction work.

Priced from RM135,000 to RM325,000, the first phrase of Symphony Heights consists of 544 units. Sizes of the apartments range from 863sq ft to 1,246sq ft.
