Hua Yang hands over keys to buyers of Symphony Heights first phrase

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 9): A handover ceremony was held by Hua Yang Bhd for the first phrase of its Symphony Heights serviced apartments in Selayang. The event, which took place last Saturday, was held to thank the buyers and to commemorate the completion of the group's first high-rise project in its 33-year history.

In their bid to promote a fire-free environment, Hua Yang distributed a total of 100 fire prevention kits, which comprised of a FIPCOM Fire X 500 extinguisher and a photo-electric smoke alarm to the residents.

Fire Prevention Council of Malaysia (FIPCOM) chairman Datuk Soh Chai Hock and secretary-general Eugene Wong were also present at the event.

"Symphony Heights is our first high-rise project and we are pleased today to be delivering the keys to residents. The fire prevention kits are part of our preventive efforts to create greater awareness and pro-activeness among residents," said Hua Yang sales and marketing manager Loh Chin Hong.

Loh said that construction works for Phase 2 and 3 will be completed by the fourth quarter (4Q) of 2012, and that they will ensure that there will be minimal disruption to the residences of Phrase 1 during the construction work.

Priced from RM135,000 to RM325,000, the first phrase of Symphony Heights consists of 544 units. Sizes of the apartments range from 863sq ft to 1,246sq ft.

The second and third phrase of the development will consist of 219 and 183 units respectively, with sizes spanning between 1,144 sq ft-1,246 sq ft. Amenities included are a swimming pool, wading pool, a children's playground, multipurpose community hall, a badminton court and a squash court.

The development is located near the Batu Caves roundabout and the MRR2 highway and Jalan Ipoh Interchange. Located in the vicinity of the serviced apartment are the KTM Komuter Batu Caves station, a Giant hypermarket, a Tesco Extra, the Selayang wholesale market and Selayang Hospital. Symphony Heights is also in close proximity to FRIM and Templers Park.

All 544 residents will receive their keys over the next few weeks.

The developer also said that it was working together with FIPCOM to arrange a fire prevention talk for the buyers of Symphony Heights in the near future.

Hua Yang is a Main Market-listed property developer with over RM1.2 billion worth of completed projects. The company's current projects are One South and Symphony Heights (Klang Valley), Senawang Link (Seremban), Taman Pulai Indah (Johor Bahru), Bandar Universiti Seri Iskandar (Ipoh).
