PETALING JAYA: KSL Holdings Bhd's latest offering at its township Canary Garden@Bandar Bestari in Klang may be the most prestigious homes in the township, according to the developer.

Called Argentine, the project comprises 27 units of 3-storey semidee homes in a gated and guarded community with a gross development value of RM46 million, said Patrick Khoo, project director of Canary Garden @ Bandar Bestari.

This is the last of phase 1, which offers 384 cluster link homes and 2-and 3-storey semidees, approximately 80% of which have been sold, he added. The 40ft x 80ft upscale homes, fronting the river, are priced from RM1.7 million. Every unit comes with its own lift.

Khoo is confident of good sales of the semidees as previous launches at Canary Garden saw good response. He added that the project has received strong interest from the registrations seen.

According to Canary Garden@Bandar Bestari head of sales and marketing Chris Fong, these units are the most prestigious in the township. It overlooks Canary Garden's 52-acre French-inspired garden and its 90-acre commercial city.

The multi-tiered security system has security features such as a central guardhouse, patrolling guards, CCTV, intercom and panic button mechanism.

Canary Garden@Bandar Bestari is a self-contained township located within a few minutes' drive from the Klang-Shah Alam Highway. The South Klang Valley Expressway and the proposed West Coast Expressway from Banting to Taiping are nearby too.

The 448-acre township will have a range of amenities such as a mall (KSL City 2), a hospital and possibly a college. It is also located just 6km away from the Jusco Aeon mall in Bandar Bukit Tinggi 2.

Khoo said the developer is set to launch phase 2 of Canary Garden next year with diverse designs for cluster homes, semi-detached units, a condo and a riverside mall. In line with its expansion in the Klang Valley, KSL also plans to launch an upscale condominium project in Jalan Madge, Kuala Lumpur in mid-2013.

The Argentine homes will be featured at KSL's latest property showcase until Sunday. There are special incentives offered to purchasers which include an additional 2% discount, special rebates, free legal fees, free two-year maintenance fees and a developer's interest bearing scheme.

KSL has a track record of 30 years in Johor with experience in both commercial and residential projects. It was listed on the Main Board of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange in February 2002. Some of the group's successful housing projects in Johor Baru are Taman Nusa Bestari 2, Taman Nusa Bestari, Taman Bestari Indah and Taman Kempas Indah.
