PETALING JAYA (Oct 5): KSL Holdings Bhd is set to hold a soft launch for a 9.5 acre phase consisting of 32 units of semi-detached (semi-dees) houses in Canary Garden@Bandar Bestari, the company's flagship development in the Klang Valley this weekend.

"We are very excited about this launch as we have received overwhelming response from home buyers. We see this as a great achievement for us as this is our very first township in Klang Valley," said Patrick Khoo, project director of Canary Garden, adding that they may release more unit depending on response.

According to the developer, the semi dees will have a projected gross development value (GDV) of approximately RM43 million. These freehold units have a built up of 3,200 sq ft, with an asking price of RM1.3 million.

Khoo added that these type of semi-dee designs is very popular amongst their customers, and that they had already started registration for these units since their launch in May 2012.

Commenting on the group's target market he said, "We expect that the majority is from Klang but there are also customers from the rest of klang Valley coming into this township because we offer a comprehensive concept of a community that is integrated and self contained."

The 448-acre township comprising residential, commercial and retail development is set to be, a self contained integrated development consist of residential homes, a street mall, a multi-level shopping Mall. It will also have its very own neighbourhood clubhouse and a specially designated 52-acre park.

The Special Launch Package in Canary Garden@Bandar Bestari includes free legal fees for SPA, the Developer Interest Bearing Scheme (DIBS) with zero interest during construction, as well as an early bird discount of RM20,000.

The soft launch this weekend is targeted at those that have registered with the company to have a preview of these units on offer. The official launch for the semi-dees is set on Oct 13.
