BANTING (Jan 9): Property developer, LBS Bina Group Bhd, targets its newly launched BSP Skypark residential units to be fully booked within one year.

BSP Skypark, comprising 689 serviced residences and 32 shoplots, is the first highrise development by LBS in the up-and-coming township of Bandar Saujana Putra. Its Managing Director Datuk Lim Hock San said the target was based on increasing demand for houses and past good record of its previous housing projects.

"For this project, we have an early bird package for our customers which is an eight per cent rebate for every unit purchased in addition to a seven per cent discount for Bumiputera buyers.

"This package will last until Chinese New Year before we decide whether to extend the package or end it," he told reporters after launching the project.Targeted for completion by 2016, BSP Skypark has a total gross development value of RM320 million.

It comes with a price starting from RM399,900 service residence, with a gross built-up area from 1,004 square feet with a comfortable layout of three bedrooms and two bathrooms.The shoplots, which have a gross built-up area from 1,030 square feet, are priced from RM618,000.

Lim said the focus of the property sector has shifted to affordable homes which LBS would continue to support the government initiative to increase home ownership among Malaysians.

"We're happy to be moving into highrise development in the Bandar Saujana Putra township and are confident that the BSP Skypark will receive positive response from potential buyers due to our affordable pricing.
