The awards feature 35 categories, including developer, development, real estate service, architecture and interior design. There is also a publisher’s choice award, the ‘Property Report Real Estate Personality of the Year’ award that went to Jose E B Antonio, chief executive officer of the Philippines-based Century Properties Group Inc.

Over 1,400 nominations were received and from those, over 300 entries. Sunway Bhd was the winner in the Best Developer (Malaysia) category while The Residences at Putra Heights by Sime Darby Property Bhd won in the Best Villa (Malaysia) category.
