Sunway Bhd achieves 50% take up for phase 3C1 of Sunway Velocity

KUALA LUMPUR: Sunway Integrated Properties recently achieved a booking rate of 50% within the first week of preview for the latest phase of its mega project dubbed Sunway Velocity on Jalan Cochrane.

Phase 3C1 comprises 276 units of designer office and 12 units of retail shop and will be officially launched to the public this August 11 and 12 following the successful launches of its past phases comprising office suites, retail shops and serviced apartments.

Built ups for the apartment range from 678 sq ft to 1,297 sq ft with a price tag from RM537,000. Its retail shop units range from 2,224 sq ft to 4,268 sq ft from RM3.1 million onwards.

This newest offering features a sky deck well equipped with facilities observing the Kuala Lumpur City Center. It also has a grand lobby entrance, double volume garden terrace every two floors of the tower and five lifts per floor.

Internet connectivity is also made available with high-speed broadband and a 2-tier security access system. Sunway Velocity is also offering direct connectivity to the lifestyle shopping mall (V Retail) and the whole development of the development via an elevated alfresco-styled environmental deck (V Boulevard).

Another sustainable development is Sunway's own green lung, the 2-acre Central Park dubbed V Garden. The development is located just 3.8km from the city center with landmark roads of Jalan Cheras, Jalan Peel and Jalan Shelly.

Sunway Velocity is anticipated to revide and regenerate the social and economic activities in the south of Kuala Lumpur. The growth of the area is further spurred by the existence of two Light Rail Transit (LRT) stations and two upcoming MY Rapid Transit (MRT) stations in the vicinity.

Together with other highly anticipated new planned developments and initiatives under the government's Economic Transformation Programme such as the recently launched Tun Razak Exchange leading to healthy increase of interest in the area leading to a steady value appreciation.

According to Ho Hon Sang, managing director of Sunway Bhd's property development division, purchasers are always looking out for profitable properties.

Sunway Velocity will comprise of retail shops, office suites, serviced apartments, a proposed business hotel and over one million sq ft of lifestyle shopping mall with more than 6,500 covered parking bays. The V Office will be built and completed in mid-2006 allowing working professionals access to the retail and lifestyle conveniences.

Also scheduled to be opened the same year is the Klang Valley's first MRT line. The entire concept of Sunway Velocity was designed to allow residents to experience a contemporary lifestyle where they can live, work, shop and eat in one destination.
