OKA Corp Bhd has proposed to acquire a piece of land in Senai, Johor for a total of RM14.24 million for expansion of operation.

UEM Sunrise Bhd has announced the acquistion of a parcel of freehold land in Jalan Sultan Yahya Petra (formerly known as Jalan Semarak), Kuala Lumpur for RM384.04 million.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing, the group said its 65%-owned subsidiary, Kayangan Kemas Sdn Bhd, was awarded the contract by Exyte Malaysia Sdn Bhd.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing on Wednesday (July 6), the group said its 70%-owned subsidiary Lestari Duta Sdn Bhd and Mujur Sinarjaya Sdn Bhd had entered into a sales and purchase agreement with Aspen Bell Avenue Sdn Bhd on Jan 27.

The construction company plans to raise RM21.57 million via a private placement of up to 479.29 million shares or 30% of its total issued shares at an issue price to be determined later.  

In a Bursa Malaysia filing on Friday (June 10), IWCity said it will focus on improving its business operations within the 12-month period to submit its regularisation plan.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing on Thursday (May 26), the group also announced its highest quarterly revenue ever after it increased by 11.88% to RM300.59 million from RM268.67 million a year earlier, underpinned by progress in construction work activities.

A Bursa Malaysia filing on Tuesday (May 24) showed that quarterly revenue slid by 4.07% to RM10.57 billion compared to RM11.02 billion a year prior.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Monday (May 23), the group said its wholly-owned subsidiary SCIB Properties Sdn Bhd has accepted a letter of award and acceptance for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning contract.
