PETALING JAYA: MK Land Holdings Bhd posted a lower net profit of RM 3.839 million in its second quarter ended Dec 31, 2009, down 26.22 % against RM 5.203 million recorded in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue however increased by 1.42% to RM 48.448 million from RM47.770 million.

KUALA LUMPUR: More affordable homes are to be built in Shanghai, adding about 4 million sq m by the end of this year.
The city will soon start constructing 12 million sq m of affordable homes, or 60 percent of the city’s year target for new housing, a report by Shanghai Daily said on Friday Jan 29.
