About Bandar Botanic

Located South of Klang city, Bandar Botanic is a large multi-racial middleclass township that was first launched in 2001. Noted for its advanced infrastructure and master planning that won the FIABCI award 2003 for Best Master plan, it has some of the loveliest landscaping and parks existing in Malaysia. Led by Gamuda Land and developed by Harum Intisari Sdn.Bhd. this RM3 Billion development has another two newer sections, Ambang Botanic – East and West. Bandar Botanic basically refers to the older township built with a magnificent central park and comprising, mainly double storey terraced houses, 2 ½ storey terraced homes, semi detached houses, some bungalows, and shop lots. Bandar Botanic, a self-sustaining development, is surrounded by townships like Bandar Bukit Tinggi, Taman Sri Pandamaran, and D’Laman Greenville which are also well to do areas with nice middleclass homes. Driving along its roads is a pleasure, as there are many picturesque views of gated and guarded homes, beautiful tree lined avenues and gardens. The Central Botanic Parkland is well planned and landscaped making it a serene garden of ponds and greenery. Houses situated next to this park enjoy pleasant if not beautiful views through their windows. There are two commercial centres here while other shopping facilities and a host of amenities are located nearby. Bandar Botanic’s location is ideal in terms of closeness to Klang city, other townships, and major roads while being slightly isolated, away from the city centre, and allowing its residents to enjoy peace and tranquility amidst the flora and fauna of its green buffer zones. Crimes rates are low and traffic flow is smooth and seldom congested while cleanliness and noise levels are good and low respectively. Although there are a couple of 99-Speedmart stores in its two commercial centres besides a 7-Eleven outlet but most of its residents head to Aeon Bukit Tinggi Shopping Centre two minutes’ drive away or Tesco and Giant Bukit Tinggi just a bit further away to do their shopping. Opposite Aeon on its Eastern side, running along the main road, is a thriving commercial centre with restaurants and cafes of all sorts, furniture stores, and other retailers of varying nature. On its Northern end, opposite the Jalan is the commercial centre belonging to Bandar Bukit Tinggi 2 which also has myriad restaurants and cafes, tuition centres, clinics, and retail-outlets of many choices. There is a post office and plenty of kindergartens in Bandar Botanic, besides the Botanic Government Clinic being adjacent to the main commercial centre of this township. There are schools like SK Kampung Idaman, Kolej WIT Pelabuhan Klang, and SJK (C) Hin Hua just 9 to 12 minutes’, SJK (C) Pandamaran A and SMK Pandamaran Jaya are further away. Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital is just 11 minutes’ driving time from this development while there are plenty of clinics in and around this township. Pantai Hospital Klang is 17 minutes’ drive distance from Bandar Botanik besides there being veterinarian clinics nearby. Persiaran Botanik is the main road that runs around Bandar Botanic which links up with Persiaran Tengku Ampuan Rahamah in the East, Persiaran Batu Nilam in the North and the KESAS Highway in the South. All of these roads keep this township well linked to other parts of Klang and Klang Valley. All one has to do is to get onto the KESAS Highway to get to KLIA via the ELITE Highway and to KL city via KL-Seremban Highway, NPE Expressway and the LDP Highway. There is a bus route leading into and servicing Bandar Botanic from Persiaran Tengku Ampuan Rahimah.
