This maiden project by Ken Holdings Bhd was launched in 2000 and delivered ahead of time, marking an auspicious beginning to the successful Ken Damansara Trilogy in Petaling Jaya. Analysis

Despite numerous claims of poor workmanship and low quality materials used during construction, the overall maintenance of the building undeniably meets up to dwellers’ expectations. The condominium’s built-ups are more family-friendly compared to the newer developments in the vicinity such as the Tropicana City Tropics. Offering residents a complete range of facilities and spacious built-ups, many families have made this dwelling their homes. This tropical-themed condominium is also suitable for young working professionals, newlyweds, new families and empty nesters seeking for something more comfortable and move-in ready. However, there has been a rise of student-occupiers too due to its proximity to a number of colleges. Many landlords have tailored their units for student accommodations which can easily fetch monthly rentals from RM1,500 upwards for a partially furnished unit. Because of the one-way access into the development via Jalan SS2/27 in the highly populated enclave, accessing in and out of Ken Damansara can be quite a hassle. Its only entry and exit point via the off- ramp linking Sprint Highway and LDP constantly faces traffic congestion too. However, given its strategic location around matured neighbourhoods and networks of highways, Ken Damansara and its subsequent series have still been sought after.
