Overview
Bukit Sentosa, located in Rawang of Hulu Selangor district, Selangor. This 2,411-acre freehold township consist of three phases. The township was launched in 1999, comprising vast varieties of residential and commercial properties targeted at buyers from Klang Valley. During the launch, Bukit Sentosa, together with its neighbour Bukit Beruntung was touted as the “second Petaling Jaya”. Apart from Bukit Beruntung, Bukit Sentosa is located nearby Serendah, Sungai Choh and Sungai Buaya. The township mainly comprises terrace houses, followed by apartment and shoplots, with still plenty of green areas for its residents. The properties offered with the affordable price attracted buyers during the launch. Unfortunately, over the years, appreciation of property prices in this area has not been healthy. The location can be seen having quite a number of properties which are abandoned and unoccupied, both by developers and buyers who could not benefit from it. Lack of proper planning and management and the almost absent public transportation resulted the township to have under-achieved from what it was envisioned to be. However, due to recent developments in Rawang, Bukit Sentosa is believed to see some potentials in the market. Amenities and Facilities
Bukit Sentosa shares most of its amenities and facilities with Bukit Beruntung and Rawang town. Nearby facilities include mini markets, banks and surau. In Rawang town, there are Tesco, Giant, Mydin and Parkson. Within the township, there are Balai Polis Bukit Sentosa, Tesco Express, Pasar Bukit Sentosa and Pasar Malam Bukit Sentosa. There are also numbers of F&B in the township. Educational institutions include SMK Bukit Sentosa, Sek Rendah Agama Bukit Sentosa, SJKT Bukit Beruntung, SK Bukit Beruntung, SJKC Bukit Tangga, Sek Ren Islam Integrasi Al- Amin Bukit Beruntung and PULAPOL Bukit Sentosa. Nearest medical facilities are Aniza Medical Centre, Pudat Rawatan Islam Al-Mujahid, Klinik 1Malaysia Bukit Sentosa, Klinik Kesihatan Bukit Sentosa and KPJ Specialist Hospital Rawang. Bukit Beruntung Golf & Country Club is a mere 7km away from Bukit Sentosa. Accessibility and Transportation
Bukit Sentosa is accessible via the Bukit Beruntung interchange of North-South Highway (PLUS). The township is located about 14km away from Rawang KTM station. The Bukit Sentosa Terminal cater bus and taxi services and there are free bus services to Kuala Kubu Bharu KTM station.
