About this project
Casa Perdana is an established residential neighbourhood in the town of Seberang Jaya, Penang.
Completed not too long ago in 2011, most of the 121 units are occupied, with few empty units. The
development consists of terraces and semi-detacheds which are spacious in build.
Phase 1 of Casa Perdana is made up of 2.5-storey homes of both types, with the terraces sized at 2,400 sf
and the semi-detacheds at 3,100 sf. In total, there are 67 units of the former and just 10 units of the latter. The
terraces offer 5+1 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms while the semi-detacheds have a 6+1 bedrooms and 5
Phase 2 on the other hand, saw the completion of 44 triple-storey terraces. These units have a 4+1 bedrooms
and 4 bathrooms layout, with built-up sizes of 2,373 sf. Each of the freehold homes within Casa Perdana come
with high ceilings and large porches, along with a spacious balcony on the first floor.
Though Casa Perdana is not within walking distance to amenities, it is located off the Jalan Baru main road,
where a range of amenities can be found in the commercial hubs and shop lots lining it. There, amenities like
convenience stores, eateries, mini markets, petrol stations and more while the Mydin Mall Bukit Mertajam is
just about 5 minutes away, Further up Jalan Baru is also the Megamall Penang shopping centre where even
more restaurants, a Pacific hypermarket and department store, and even a cinema are available.
Needless to say, Casa Perdana is designed for families, with its location close to a number of schools. Just
beyond the neighbourhood is SMK Pauh Jaya, while more are located around town, such as SK Jalan Baharu,
SMK Perai, SK Seberang Jaya, SJK (T) Ladang Prye, SK Khir Johari, SJK Chung Hwa 3 and more. Many
kindergartens are also in the area, while the Paramount College of Technology and an Open University
Malaysia are some of the educational institutions in town.
Jalan Baru is also the main route which enables accessibility to and from Casa Perdana. A quick drive up the
road will connect directly to the North-South Expressway (NSE), where the first Penang bridge will be a couple
of minutes away. The Butterworth Outer Ring Road (BORR) is also accessible from Jalan Baru, making the
town of Butterworth a short 20-minutes drive from the development. Other towns on mainland Penang is also
linked to Casa Perdana via Jalan Baru, where southwards along the road will lead to Bukit Mertajam, Simpang
Ampat, and even Nibong Tebal.
