Kampung Datuk Keramat is a fairly large neighbourhood by itself, located in the central township of Keramat. Previously known by the old locals as “Tangga Cina” this is a Malay majority area as most of the land here are Malay reserved land. Residents of Kampung Datuk Keramat generally find commuting via the Light Rail Transit (LRT) convenient, with 3 different stations in the area; namely the Jelatek Station, Dato’ Keramat Station and the Damai Station.
