About this project
Developed by Saujana Triangle Sdn Bhd (a wholly owned unit of MK Land Holdings Bhd), Metropolitan Square is a mixed and integrated development in Damansara Perdana, Petaling Jaya.
The development comprises six residential blocks and one commercial block offering shop and office units. The serviced apartment units’ built-up sizes range from 452 to 2,702 sq ft while the commercial units have built-ups ranging from 525 to 1,276 sq ft.
The leasehold development was completed in 2007 with the lease expiring on 2104.
Each residential block has its own facilities such as swimming pools, BBQ pits, gym and badminton courts. The development is also near the Mutiara Damansara shopping belt (IKEA Damansara, The Curve, eCurve and IPC Shopping Centre). Nearby commercial centres include PJ Trade Centre and Empire Damansara.
Being located at the border of Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur, the development is strategically located close to other mature and popular townships such as Bandar Utama, Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI), Bandar Sri Damansara, Kota Damansara, Kepong, Taman Bukit Mayang Emas and Mont’Kiara.
In terms of accessibility, residents of Metropolitan Square are able to access several major highways within short driving distance such as Penchala Link that links to Mont Kiara, Sri Hartamas and Federal Highway; Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP) and Sprint Highway.
As for healthcare facilities, nearby hospitals include Thomson Hospital Kota Damansara (formerly Tropicana Medical Centre) and KPJ Damansara Specialist Centre, both of which are about 6 km away.
As of October 2019, a condominium unit in Metropolitan Square was rented for RM2,400 a month. The buyer liked the fully furnished (and beautifully designed interior) high-floor unit that offers both pool and city views as well as two side-by-side parking bays.
