Nusa Mewah was initially abandoned after its construction works began in 2005. Many homeowners were enraged as they had paid for the 10% downpayment and had yet to receive the keys to their units. What was worse was that their years of financing their units went down the drain after they discovered that the sale-and-purchase agreements had been terminated and their units sold off. Another developer eventually took over and continued with the development until it was completed, and the original buyers were returned their units much to their joy and relief. Now that Nusa Mewah is up and ready, it lives up to its name as a luxurious high rise property in Cheras and many investors can now benefit from its value for future capital appreciation.
