Taman Austin Perdana is a neighbourhood located in Johor Bahru. The town consists of a variety of residential and commercial properties. The residential component consists mostly of townhouses, terrace, semi-detached and condominium units. Meanwhile, the commercial component consists mostly of shop-offices that are three storeys high. Residential units within the township have built-ups ranging from 700 sf onwards, particularly with the high-rise units. The larger units, sized from 1,000 sf are mostly landed units. With the variety of unit size made available, Taman Austin Perdana is a suitable place for all walks of life to live in, as well as for different businesses to invest in. The high-rise residential units in the neighbourhood have a wider variety of facilities, which encompasses the likes of swimming pools, multi-purpose halls and rooms. The landed units, on the other hand, have a central park, usually coming with a children’s playground, small multi-purpose courts and jogging tracks. Some of the phases in the township have a gated and guarded system employed, while some have 24-hour security within their neighbourhood. The commercial units generally do not have any security system employed, unless it is self-installed. There is also a myriad of amenities for residents of Taman Austin Perdana to enjoy. For starters, the area is a stone’s throw away to shopping malls such as AEON Mall Tebrau City, Tesco Extra Tebrau City, and most recently opened, IKEA Tebrau City. The malls become providers of entertainment and daily necessities for the community in the area. Other commercial outlets are scattered within close proximity of the neighbourhood, which supplies restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, workshops and offices. Taman Austin Perdana can be accessed easily via the Jalan Pandan federal route and the Pasir Gudang highway.
