Taman Mount Austin is a township located in Tebrau, Johor Bahru. The neighbourhood has a healthy mix of various properties, from serviced apartments, terrace homes, semi-detached homes, shop-office lots to industrial buildings. Being one of the well known towns in the Johor Bahru area, this neighbourhood is a conducive area for all walks of life to stay in. The high-rise units in the neighbourhood have built-ups from 420 sf and consists mostly of studio layouts. On the other hand, the landed properties have larger built-ups, with the terrace units ranging from 1,102 sf to 1,400 sf, with single and double storey variations. The common facilities located within the neighbourhood are such as central parks, jogging paths and multipurpose courts. The newer high-rise properties house the likes of swimming pools, themed decks, multipurpose halls as well as social gathering spaces, such as a barbecue area and more. There is a mix in the nature of security within the area, though most of the phases within employ a 24-hour security system. The newer homes in Taman Mount Austin however, are gated and guarded. Despite being a self-sustainable neighbourhood, it is also blessed with its surroundings which are abundant with amenities. Whilst the shop-offices within provide restaurants, offices, cafes, service centres, and convenience stores, tenants are also not too far away from Johor Bahru’s landmarks located within Tebrau. For starters, the Sultan Ismail Hospital is just a stone’s throw away, which will be helpful during emergency situations. The residence is also close to shopping malls such as Tesco Extra Tebrau City, AEON Mall Tebrau City, and the latest addition, IKEA Tebrau. Recreational and entertainment outlets are also nearby, with the Austin Heights and Adventure Park located close to the area. Taman Mount Austin can be accessed easily via the Pasir Gudang Highway and the Jalan Pandan federal route. These road networks also act as a branch to the North-South Highway (NSE), making travelling around the country easier. Through these routes as well, residents will be able to reach the Johor Bahru City Centre with less hassle, and enjoy a convenient gateway to neighbouring country, Singapore.
