Taman Mutiara Rini is a growing township located in Skudai, Johor. The development,
which consists mainly of residential component was launched in 1996, with several phases of homes already
completed. The project also encompasses commercial areas, which makes the area self-sustaining, as well as
convenient for the residents living there.
The facilities located within the area focuses a lot on nature and wellbeing, especially with landscaped
gardens scattered in the phases. Some of them contain small sports fields while some have children’s
playgrounds. There is also a cycling track that will cover all of the phases which tenants can make use of.
Most residential phases in Taman Mutiara Rini are also gated and guarded, but security can be further fortified
with self-installed security systems, as crime is a common occurrence in its surrounding areas. One of the key
facilities of Taman Mutiara Rini, which is also its unique selling point would be the 64-acre Urban Forest and
Recreational Centre located in the township itself, it is where tenants can find eco ponds and fruit trees.
Apart from the commercial units nearby, Mutiara Rini is also located in between many of Johor’s key
townships, where amenities are abundant. One of it happen to be Taman Universiti, which is home for many
students studying in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Taman Sutera is also nearby, there is a mall located
within - Sutera Mall, where tenants can do their shopping. Furthermore, the Johor Bahru city centre is located
within a stone’s throw away, where more restaurants, workshops, service centres, offices and shopping malls
can be found.
Taman Mutiara Rini can be accessed easily via the Skudai-Pontian Highway, which has an exit directly to the
township. The highway is also the main route heading to Johor Bahru. The township can also be accessed via
the Malaysia-Singapore Second Link Expressway, an advantage for those who are working in Singapore.
