In 2013, the renowned Hong Kong-based property developer, New World Development Co. Ltd. launched its maiden real estate project in Malaysia. Partnered with the local developer, Luen Yum Development (M) Sdn. Bhd., the development is set to add another 96 luxury properties into the Johor property market comprising of bungalows and semi-detached homes. Previously known as New World Garden, Vila Seni is sitting on a 12-acre freehold land in Plentong, Johor Bahru. The development was based on the “built-then-sell” concept and was completed in 2014. The 96 residential units come in three different types, with built up areas for the semi-detached homes being 4,092 sq. ft. and 4,140 sq. ft. while the bungalows are 5,432 sq. ft. The gated and guarded Vila Seni also has its own clubhouse which houses a swimming pool, gym, function rooms, multipurpose hall, a tea pavilion and playground. Vila Seni offers top-of-the-line services including concierge, courier, private event planning housekeeping and maintenance services. To top it off, Vila Seni has a 5-tier security including trained Gurkha, Nepalese elite army guards patrolling the perimeter. Our Verdict
Despite its price point during the launch, Villa Seni has held up its end upon the completion of the Pasir Gudang Highway. Thus, making the development more accessible to the city centre and the Singapore causeway. Carefully planned and executed by the developer, Vila Seni exudes sophistication and exclusivity that is hard to come by these days. Vila Seni attracts buyers from all over including Singaporeans and locals that are looking for exclusivity with top-notch security.
