Zahid asked Singaporean businessman for RM10m donation, says witness

KUALA LUMPUR (March 11): Former deputy prime minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi (pictured) had in 2015 asked Singaporean businessman Wong Sang Woo @ Wong Shuh Chain for a RM10 million donation, which was proposed to be channelled to Zahid’s charity arm Akalbudi Foundation, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission investigating officer Christ Sheldon Anak Merun told the High Court here today.

MACC investigations show Yayasan Akalbudi did not purchase two bungalows worth RM5.9m

KUALA LUMPUR (March 9): Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) investigations into former deputy prime minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s (pictured) charity organisation Yayasan Akalbudi did not reveal documentation which suggested that the foundation had purchased two bungalows in Kajang in 2017, according to a witness at the politician’s graft trial yesterday.

Najib, Zahid court trials postponed due to MCO 2.0
