Sentral REIT had on July 25 struck a deal with MRCB’s wholly-owned unit Puncak Wangi Sdn Bhd to acquire Menara CelcomDigi, a 27-storey office building.
This collaboration paves the way for I-Bhd to launch its latest five-dimensional edutainment facility with the latest immersive technology in i-City by December.
PIVB recommended to non-interested shareholders of MRCB to vote in favour of the resolution pertaining to the proposed acquisition at the extraordinary general meeting on Oct 24.

The digital nomad-friendly Airbnb listings will be located in key tourism hotspots such as Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Penang and Langkawi.

Sentral REIT said the acquisition of the building from MRCB’s wholly-owned subsidiary Puncak Wangi Sdn Bhd, will be satisfied with cash raised through a combination of equity and debt funding exercises.
The WORQ with DE Rantau programme is estimated to inject RM360 million into the Malaysian economy by supporting 6,000 highly skilled workers, as well as enabling new businesses in the economy.
Immigration facilitation is also being accorded to nomad workers, defined as IT and digital professionals such as digital freelancers, independent contractors and remote workers in targeted manufacturing sectors under NIP and NIMP 2030 in the form of a Digital Nomad Pass.
