US FDA cautions against using animal anti-parasite drug Ivermectin to treat Covid-19

KUALA LUMPUR (July 28): Health Minister Datuk Seri Adham Baba yesterday said the ministry had given special approval for the anti-parasitic drug known as Ivermectin to be used off-label for a clinical study to determine the safety and efficacy of the drug to treat Covid-19 patients.

KUALA LUMPUR (March 23): My EG Services Bhd (MyEG) said its COVID-19 rapid test kit has been qualified for emergency use by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), paving the way for the sale of the kits in the US, where the number of positive cases has surpassed 33,000, with 417 deaths.
