High Court allows Najib to inspect seized items worth RM680m

KUALA LUMPUR (June 10): The High Court today has allowed an application by former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak to inspect close to 12,000 pieces of jewellery, 300 handbags and other valuables which were seized by police shortly after the 14th general election in 2018.

OBYU awaits decision on its representation

KUALA LUMPUR (March 12): The High Court was yesterday informed that the prosecution is considering a representation relating to asset forfeiture made by OBYU Holdings Sdn Bhd, the owner of several condos at Pavilion Residences, where more than RM680 million worth of valuable items said to belong to Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, were kept and are subject to forfeiture.

Dzulkifli unaware charges against Najib based on 76 new statements taken by MACC

KUALA LUMPUR (March 11): Former Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Tan Sri Dzulkifli Ahmad (pictured) admitted in court that he is not aware that the present charges levelled against former premier Datuk Seri Najib Razak in relation to the SRC International Sdn Bhd case are based on statements taken from an additional 76 witnesses by the graft-buster.
