MBAM: Prioritise vaccination for construction industry workers

PETALING JAYA (July 2): The Master Builders Association Malaysia (MBAM) together with 35 associations in the construction industry is urging for vaccination priority to be given to construction industry workers and the building materials supply chain under Phase 2 of the National COVID-19 Immunisation Program (PICK).

KUALA LUMPUR (June 24): The construction industry is facing a material shortage problem as its supply chain is not allowed to operate during  Full Movement Control Order (FMCO), hence Master Builders Association Malaysia (MBAM) has urged the government to allow related industries to resume operations to ensure the critical and essential construction works will not be disrupted.

MBAM urges govt to waive levy fee for foreign workers

PETALING JAYA (June 1): The Master Builders Association Malaysia (MBAM) has urged the government to consider the waiver of levy fee for foreign workers renewing their work permits and extension of permit approval for those who are stuck because they have been unable to enter Malaysia during the lockdown, as well as for those who will be overstaying due to the imposed movement restriction.
