Overview

Kelana Jaya is a part of Petaling Jaya, Selangor. It consists of SS3, SS4, SS5, SS6 and SS7. Close proximity to Kuala Lumpur makes Kelana Jaya an ideal location to live in.  

Property Types

SS3 is a landed residential area with mainly single and double storey terrace houses and semi-detached houses with rows of PKNS flats nestled right next to the highway. SS4 is a large freehold residential enclave with primarily terrace houses but bungalows and semi-detached houses are also present. SS5 is a mixed development consisting of single and double storey terrace houses in the residential area and double-storey shop-offices in the commercial area. SS6 is the commercial hub of Kelana Jaya with the only residential properties in the area being the Kelana Sentral serviced apartment, PKNS flats and Kelana Parkview, a 4-block 11-storey condominium with commercial and residential units. SS7 is an upmarket mix of residential, commercial and recreational developments that include Kelana Centre Point, Kelana Square and Sterling.

Amenities and Facilities

All the sections of Kelana Jaya are in close proximity to a rich concentration of every amenity and facility necessary for a neighborhood. Amenities include multiple shopping malls such as the Paradigm Mall and Giant Hypermarket with Sunway Pyramid, the Curve and 1 Utama just a few minutes away; places of worship such as Tabung Haji Mosque, Al-Hidayah Mosque, St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Sri Shakthi Easwari Hindu Temple and Manjushri Kadampa Buddhist Centre; multiple schools such as Selangor School for the Deaf, SRK Kelana Jaya, SRK Sri Kelana, SMK Kelana Jaya, SMK Lembah Subang, SMK Sri Permata and Nobel International School; reputed higher education institutions such as University of Malaya, International Islamic University Malaysia, UNITAR International University, Imperia Institute of Technology, Malaysia University of Science and Technology (MUST) and Food Institute of Malaysia (FIM) while KDU College, KBU College and SEGi College are within a 15-minute drive; a public recreational hub consisting of Kelana Jaya Park, Kelana Jaya Lake, MBPJ Stadium, MBPJ Swimming Pool Complex and Kelana Jaya Sports Centre;  medical facilities are provided by Beacon Hospital, Columbia Asia Hospital and Subang Jaya Medical Center all within or less than 15 minutes away; and other amenities include several banks, night market, Balai Polis Kelana Jaya, post office, gas station and innumerable restaurants.

Accessibility and Transportation

The main highways through which Kelana Jaya is accessible are Damansara Puchong Expressway (LDP) and Federal Highway. Other nearby highways include Sprint Highway, MRR2 and New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE). To access via public transport the easiest method is via the Kelana Jaya LRT Station which is the last station in the Kelana Jaya Line. The Taman Bahagia LRT station located nearby can also be used.
