Bandar Puncak Alam is a strategically located township in Kuala Selangor district, Selangor. The 14,000-acre township is located within proximity to prime locations such as Kuala Lumpur, Shah Alam, Petaling Jaya and Klang. 

The township, which was an oil palm plantation previously, is planned to be an integrated self-contained township, with comprehensive amenities and facilities, targeting a population of 500,000 residents.

Bandar Puncak Alam is nearby to other major townships such as Denai Alam, Setia Alam and Bandar Tasik Puteri. In its vicinity, there are also sub-townships such as Alam Perdana, Alam Jaya, Shah Alam 2 and Ambang Suria. 

The township was launched in 1997 and is well-known among house buyers, especially first time buyers who are looking for suburban lifestyle. It has a good reputation as they are ample facilities for residents here.  

Bandar Puncak Alam’s commendable infrastructure and the lifestyle it has to offer is attracting many housebuyers to the township and its vicinity. 

Due to the proximity to tertiary institutions such as Universiti Teknologi Mara, Universiti Selangor and Malaysia-Japan Technical University, Bandar Puncak Alam and its neighbouring townships has been designated as the “Education Town” by the state government.

Bandar Puncak Alam has a great range of amenities and facilities for its residents within the township and its neighbouring townships.

The township is within reach to shopping destinations such as Star Avenue Lifestyle Mall and Citta Mall. Residents can find everyday needs from nearby Tesco, MyMydin, Pasar Tani Mega Bdr Puncak Alam, Econsave, Alam Jaya Commercial Centre, shops, clinics, petrol stations and banks. 

Schools available within the township are SK Puncak Alam 1, SK Puncak Alam 2, and SK Puncak Alam 3. The new UiTM Puncak Alam is also situated in the township with student capacity of 30,000, facilitating 17 faculties.

Nearby hospitals from Bandar Puncak Alam include Ramsay Sime Darby Ara Damansara and Sungai Buloh Hospital, which are about 30km away. The township is also located approximately 30km away from the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport.

<h3>Accessibility and Transportation</h3>

Bandar Puncak Alam, which is located close to all major conurbations of Klang Valley, is easily accessible via Latar Expressway, Gutrie Corridor Expressway, North-South Highway (PLUS), New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), and ELITE Highway. The proposed DASH Highway will also ease the access to this township. 

The township is located approximately 6km to Kota Damansara, 24km to Bandar Tasek Puteri and Sungai Buloh, 35km to Petaling Jaya and about 50km to Kuala Lumpur City Centre. 

The nearest train stations will be the Kuang KTM Station; and Sungai Buloh KTM and MRT station.
