Kangkar Pulai is a small town in Johor Bahru District, Johor, Malaysia- situated along Skudai Pontian Highway, approximately 25 kilometres from Johor Bharu City Centre.
The town is divided into 5 zones, namely A, B, C, and D, E with each zone having more than 50 families or houses. Business units and commercial lots are in zone E due to its location close to the main road. Zones C and D are located at the south side while zones A and B are located at the north side of the road.

Every Saturday, the Pasar Malam, better known as Skudai Night Market offering food, clothes, music, and accessories is available for the locals to spend their leisure time during the weekend.
The Skudai Night Market’s location changes daily to cater to other towns within the Skudai area such as Taman Perling, Taman Sutera, Taman Teratai, Taman University on Monday; Taman Tampoi Utama on Tuesday; Taman Bukit Indah, Taman Skudai Baru on Wednesday; Bandar Selesa Jaya on Thursday; Taman University on Friday; and Taman Sri Skudai on Sunday.
