Taman Desa is a matured township located in Kuala Lumpur. It is located within close proximity to the Kuala Lumpur city centre. Depending on the traffic, one can reach the Kuala Lumpur city centre is as little as 15 minutes by car.

As Taman Desa is located on the border between Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya, this means easy accessibility to several main roads and highways such as the KL-Seremban Expressway, the New Pantai Expressway (NPE), Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP) as well as the Federal Highway.

Taman Desa was constructed back in the early 1970s and is therefore, a matured township. Big and shady trees which line its roads add to the charm of this township. Taman Desa is also up and coming as a trendy hangout spot with the emergence of many new hipster food and beverage outlets. However, there are also typical business centres like the Danau Business Centre and the Faber Complex where one can find banks and such.
