Bandar Saujana Putra (BSP) is a fairly new township within the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) of Malaysia. The MSC is a region designated for multimedia technology based companies in an endeavor to fast forward the socio-economic development of Malaysia into the Information Age. This township spans over 820 acres of leasehold land with many properties developed by LBS Bina Group and TCS Group. Launched in 2003, it is located adjacent to pivotal neighborhoods such as Putrajaya, Cyberjaya, Shah Alam and Puchong. The KLIA Sepang Runway 14L aircraft landing corridor running directly through Saujana Putra caused a lot of pollution. But the diversion of air traffic towards Runway 14R has solved this problem.

Amenities and Facilities

At the moment there are no schools in the immediate vicinity of BSP, but their construction is in the pipeline. But many local and international schools are present within a 20-30 minute drive radius from BSP, such as SK Taman Putra Perdana, SMK Kota Kemuning, SMK Cyberjaya, Chinese Taipei School, Kingsley International School, Taylor’s International School Puchong and Rafflesia International & Private Schools.

Construction for the MAHSA University and Hospital in BSP has been underway the past few years and is designated for completion in 2016. This will provide residents with ample opportunities for higher education and will provide facilities for medical emergencies. The BSP Lake offers a sense of calmness and serenity away from the bustle of the busy city life. Other amenities currently present include diverse range of restaurants, clinics, pharmacies, bank, tuition centres and a petrol station.

Property Development

TCS Group completed the projects Saujana Permai and Saujana Prima consisting of 4-bedroom double storey terraced homes in 2014 & 2015 and they are completely sold out. Another completed project is Saujana Avenue, a block of 3 & 4-storey shop offices. Currently underway is the Saujana Lakeview project consisting of 2.5-storey terrace homes and down the line are expected high-rise properties such as Saujana Residence and Lakeview Residence.

Properties launched by LBS include BSP Rumah Selangorku, a 12-storey apartment building launched in an attempt to offer middle income earners a chance to own a house at a reasonable rate; BSP21, a serviced residence with over 70 facilities that include a 4-storey clubhouse (expected completion in 2018); BSP Skypark, a 24-storey serviced residence offering multiple recreational diversities (expected completion in 2016); and BSP Village, an integrated commercial development hub complete with cinema, street bazaars, supermarket and a multi-storey shopping mall. Property investors predict that on completion of all these projects the appreciation of property values will skyrocket.

Accessibility and Transportation

BSP is accessible via South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE), Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP), Maju Expressway (MEX) and the North-South Expressway Central Link (ELITE).
