Setia Alam, is a huge township located on the fringes of Selangor’s capital city - Shah Alam and borders Klang. It was previously known as North Hummock Estate, once owned by See Hoy Chan Group and then sold to S P Setia Bhd.

This well planned and sustainable township is developed by S P Setia Bhd since 2004. It consists of Setia Alam (2,525 acres of integrated residential and commercial properties), Setia Eco Park (791 acres of fully gated and guarded luxury semi-detached and bungalow development and Malaysia's first eco township, Setia City (a 240-acre integrated green city centre development), Alam Nusantara by PKNS and Anjung Sari by Sazean Group. Both Alam Nusantara's and Anjung Sari's lands (totaling about 600 acres) were sold by SP Setia to PKNS as parts of SP Setia's strategies to develop the bigger Setia Alam development.
This township has strong security, communal and green features, namely single entry neighbourhoods, north-south oriented units, wider roads, natural barriers of plants and water bodies, environment-friendly development - MASMA (Manual Saliran Mesra Alam Malaysia) requirements, concealed underground cables and drainage, built-in security alarm system connected to a local CMS and Internet broadband access, 36 months defect liability period (usually only 18 months) and an industrial-free zone development.
SP Setia's Setia Alam and Setia Eco Park townships have won a number of awards locally and internationally, including the World's Best Master Plan Development for Setia Eco Park in FIABCI International Prix d'Excellence Award 2007 held in Barcelona, Spain. In 2013, Setia Alam won the World's Best Master Plan Development in FIABCI, held in Taichung, Taiwan. The S P Setia Corporate Headquarters was also the winner of The Edge Malaysia Green Excellence Award in 2015, a much coveted award within The Edge Malaysia Property Excellence Awards.
Accessibility and Transportation
It is accessible via the Setia Alam ramp off the North Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) and Federal Highway. The upcoming LRT line 3 in Shah Alam will also improve accessibility for those whom opt for public transport. The developing National Institute of Health (1NIH) will see surge of 5,000 personnel from the Health Ministry into the area once it is ready in 2016.

This area also claims the longest pasar malam that is held every Saturday night, stretching over 2.4 kilometres and entered the 2011 Malaysian Book of Records.
