Overview

USJ is an affluent residential township in Subang Jaya, Selangor within the district of Petaling and is governed by the Subang Jaya Municipality Council. Developed mainly by SIME UEP back in 1988 after the completion of Subang Jaya, it is divided into 27 sections - USJ 1 to USJ 27, USJ 3A-3D, USJ Heights and Subang Heights. 

Accessibility and Transportation

USJ is highly accessible via numerous major highways and public transport. The latest public transport facility to the area include the elevated Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) connecting USJ and Sunway. The upcoming extension of Kelana Jaya LRT line connecting USJ to Subang, Summit, Putra Heights and eventually to Ampang and Sri Petaling will soon be operational.

Amenities and Facilities

There are two commercial hubs here such as Taipan Business Centre and Subang Business Centre. There are numerous retail outlets such as The Summit, Giant and Mydin hypermarkets, Da Men in USJ 1 (a mixed development comprising serviced apartments, retail lots and mall), The Main Place and One City in USJ 25.

There are a few established industrial areas, namely Sime UEP Industrial Park, Sungai Penaga Industrial Park and Subang Industrial Park.

Educational facilities are abundant, from infant stage to tertiary levels, both public and private. Of note is Sekolah Wawasan, which is one of three “Vision” schools in the country, located in USJ.

Medical facilities here include Sime Darby Medical Centre Subang and the nearby Sunway Medical Centre.

In terms of recreation, there is the Subang Jaya Municipal Sports Council in USJ 5, numerous indoor futsal courts, and other racket game courts and Speedway Plus Go-Kart Circuit and numerous golf courses.

Every residential neighbourhood comes with landscaped park, recreational fields, basketball courts, jogging tracks and children’s playground. 

USJ offers its residents an abundant of facilities in a well a planned and landscaped suburb.
