About Bandar Rinching

Located South of Kuala Lumpur and close to Kajang while being part of Semenyih, Bandar Rincing is populated mainly by students and families. Besides being a residential enclave, it is also a commercial area comprising mainly of 1 & 2 storey terrace homes, semi-detached houses, bungalows and shops. When it was announced that the MRT was to be built near to Kajang town, a boom occurred which has seen much growth in the Semenyih and Kajang areas. Setia Ecohill by SP Setia and Eco Majestic by Ecoworld have been launched in Semenyih and are still being developed in 2017 with new major roads and infrastructure. Bandar Rincing has six residential zones or sections with other housing areas like Setia Ecohill,Taman Pelangi, Semenyih and Setia Ecohill surrounding them. There is also Broga Hill a short drive away from Bandar Rincing, which has a beautiful view of its hill as well as panoramic views of Klang Valley from its lookout points. There is a popular hiking trail as well as a lovely waterfall that attracts people not only from Semenyih but also visitors from greater Kuala Lumpur to this hill. The minor streets in the lower middleclass to middleclass housing area are not neat and tidy with nature strips that are not well kept or maintained although the roads are quite wide and spacious. The commercial area has a comprehensive range of products and services, both public and private that cater to the needs and wants of the population here. There are a host of different retail-outlets, banks, private clinics, boutiques, restaurants and cafes, mini-markets, car workshops located in the commercial centre between Bandar Rincing’s sections 4 & 5. Tesco Semenyih is situated beside Jalan Semenyih while further up this main road, are the Balai Polis Semenyih as well as Pizza Hut and KFC restaurants. Other familiar brand names like Sen Heng electrical appliance shop, 7-Eleven, TM Point, OldTown White Coffee Kopitiam, My Mydin, Maybank, CIMB,and many more have branch or franchise outlets in the shop-lot areas. There are petrol stations like Petronas and Petron nearby with a fire station just a short distance from Tesco Semenyih while Econsave and The Store also have stores a short drive away. As for schools there is SK Bandar Rincing, SMK Bandar Rincing, SJK(C) Sin Ming, SK Semenyih, Sekolah Rendah Agama Bandar Rincing besides the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus located just 3 km away. Hospital Kajang is only 12 minutes’ drive away while it takes les than 20 minutes to get to Serdang Hospital. Bandar Rincing is easily accessible by Jalan Semenyih and Persiaran Ecohill Timur which in turn connect to the KL-Seremban Highway and Setia Ecohill Expressway respectively. So this enclave once considered a bit isolated is now well linked to the rest of Klang Valley and beyond. Bus services ply along Jalan Semenyih with a few strategically placed bus-stops that offer good and convenient public transport that will be boosted when the Sungai Buloh-Kajang MRT Line is completed.
