Cloud Design Sdn Bhd launches first web-based ID platform Furmingo

PETALING JAYA (Dec 16): Cloud Design Sdn Bhd has launched Furmingo, a web-based interior design software platform, aiming to make interior design hassle-free and affordable for everyone.

Claiming to be the first one to do so in Southeast Asia, Furmingo allows its subscribed members to produce their work by using the software and later showcase their designs on the platform for marketing and publicity. 

In a statement, Cloud Design’s group CEO Frank Wong noted that there is a huge potential for the platform in the Malaysian and Singaporean market. 

“There was a total of 400,000 property transactions recorded in 2015 for both markets, and 37 interior design colleges in Malaysia and Singapore. 

“And the statistics show that only 20% [out of 400,000 transactions] engaged an interior designer. They are our potential market, we are looking to drive them to our platform and convert them into our members,” he said at the launch of Furmingo. 

According to Wong, the platform has recruited more than 100 merchants that help contribute to its data centre where it is able to provide services such as instant file sharing, instant quotation, direct merchant connection and others.
