YFG bags RM245 mil PR1MA project

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 17): YFG Bhd has bagged a RM245 million contract for subcontract works involving construction of 1Malaysia People’s Housing Programme (PR1MA) houses in Pedas, Rembau, Negeri Sembilan.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, YFG said it has received a letter of award from Wearegold Sdn Bhd for the project.

“The project involves the building and infrastructure works of the proposed development of 1,572 units of PR1MA homes,” it added.

YFG said the project is expected to commence on a date to be notified in writing by Wearegold and to be completed within 24 months.

“The project is expected to contribute positively to the group’s revenue and earnings for the financial year ending Sept 30, 2017,” it noted.

YFG shares closed unchanged at 4.5 sen yesterday, with a market capitalisation of RM27.41 million.
