Overview

Seberang Jaya is a prominent town in the Seberang Perai district in Penang. It is also located close to the main industrial area of northern Malaysia. One of the main reasons for the success of this town is its strategic position, 8km from the Penang Bridge and Perai industrial area.

With ample job opportunities and educational offerings, the locale is a sought-after residential enclave. An added plus point is its 25km radius from the Penang International Airport.

Residential offerings are predominated by landed properties as well as affordable apartments and flats. Of recent, the introduction of more high-rise developments has given Seberang Jaya a more “uplifted” feel.

Seberang Jaya is also known as a telecommunication centre town housing Maxis, Digi and Celcom, as well as the Penang State Immigration Department.

The town also has the biggest U-turn flyover in Malaysia passing through the reservoir.
