The Estate in South Bangsar sees over 60% take-up rate

The Estate

PETALING JAYA (April 26): More than 60% of Bon Estates Sdn Bhd’s The Estate in South Bangsar has been taken up since its official launch last month, said the boutique developer in a press statement today.

According to Bon Estates marketing director Angeline Liau, the developer is confident that the positive trend will continue as buyers are drawn by the prospect of owning a large family-sized unit in the South Bangsar locale.

“The fact that many of the available units in South Bangsar are below 2,000 sq ft and The Estate fulfils pent-up demand with units that range between 2,346 sq ft and 3,474 sq ft have certainly drawn a crowd in our direction,” she said.

Spanning a 3.68-acre freehold plot along Jalan 112, The Estate features two 45-storey towers that will house 328 condo units. They are priced at RM800 psf.

Liau added that majority of the purchasers are between the age of 30 and 50 years.

“In fact, almost a quarter of the buyers were couples in the 50 to 60 years of age segment, while singles (of different ages) roughly represent more than a tenth of the buyers,” she added.

Standard units available at The Estate come in options of 4+1 or 5+1 bedrooms, with a limited number of duplex units and penthouses available. About 40% of the units will feature the dual-key concept.

There are a total of five pools at The Estate — a sky pool at each tower, a lap pool, family pool and kids’ pool. Other facilities include a 3,000 sq ft gym, yoga room, meditation room as well as child-friendly facilities such as an open play area with a sunken lawn, custom play area and an indoor playroom.
