PETALING JAYA (May 6): S P Setia is looking to launch the first phase of Satori Villa in Setia EcoHill, Semenyih by 3Q2017.

According to the developer, the gated-and-guarded Satori Villa will have 120 Japanese-themed semi-detached homes where it will be launched in two phases.

Phase 1 will have a gross development value (GDV) of RM75 million, comprising 40 2-storey units and 20 2.5-storey units of semi-detached homes.

The semi-detached units will have built-ups of 2,933 sq ft onwards. Starting price is RM1.2 million, said Setia EcoHill general manager Koh Sooi Meng.

He told City & Country that for Satori Villa, S P Setia is targeting upgraders from the surrounding areas. The project has received interested from those staying in Cheras, Seri Kembangan, Kajang, Ampang, Bangi, Nilai and Seremban.

Koh said the development draws its concept and design inspiration from a Japanese-themed garden located nearby where the garden will have a waterfall, shrubs and flowers such as the Malaysian Sakura and bamboo.

Next up, S P Setia plans to bring a Rumah Selangorku project — D’Kristal, into the township. The affordable homes project will comprise two blocks with 670 apartment units with built-ups of 810 sq ft. Each unit will be priced at RM100,000.

Setia EcoHill is a 673-acre, freehold mixed-use development that was launched in October 2013. With a GDV of RM5 billion, the township is expected to be completed by 2022.
