JOHOR BAHRU (JUNE 9): S P Setia Bhd’s latest double-storey terraced housing project in Johor, Elonia at Bukit Indah, has been fully taken up since its official launch in April 2017.

According to the developer in a statement today, Elonia comprises 100 freehold double-storey terraced houses of 20’ x 70’ and built-up of 1,770 sq ft, and priced from RM630,448, or RM356 psf.

“The overwhelming response received for Elonia shows that the underlying demand for mid-priced properties is still strong amidst the current market environment. The queue to select the units started a day before the actual launch,” said Stanley Saw, the divisional general manager of S P Setia.

He said Elonia is a collection of stylish and spacious homes in a gated and guarded development.

“Its design focal point of the homes is the high ceiling, which helps to improve natural ventilation and reduces room temperature, making the home naturally cooler. It also features a semi-open clothes drying area and a family area at the first floor, which can be easily converted into a room if the owner wants to,” he noted.

Elonia has a gross development value of RM71.3 million. Amenities nearby include a Jusco Regional Shopping Centre, Tesco Hypermarket, an array of restaurants, a convention centre and others.

The development lies 13km away from Johor Bahru via the Coastal Highway, 26km to Singapore via the 2nd Link Expressway and 29km to Senai International Airport.

Construction for Elonia has commenced in April 2017 and is targeted to be completed in April 2019.

An upcoming launch in Bukit Indah would be Sky Trees serviced apartments, which will be open for registration by 3Q2017. The project comprises 480 units housed within two towers with unit built-up areas ranging from 580 sq ft to 850 sq ft. The indicative average price is RM650 psf.
