Bursa queries HCK after stock hits limit up
KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 10): Bursa Malaysia issued an unusual market activity (UMA) query on HCK Capital Group Bhd's share trade after the stock climbed as much as 30 sen to hit limit up today.
HCK runs property, media and education-related businesses. The stock rose to its highest so far today at RM1.29.
At 4:09pm, HCK shares pared gains at RM1.23 for a market capitalisation of RM522.25 million. HCK, which was Bursa Malaysia's second-largest gainer, saw some 600,000 shares traded.
Bursa Malaysia told HCK : "We draw your attention to the sharp rise in price of your company’s shares today."
