Bina Puri to undertake RM35 mil Thailand condominium project

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 14): Bina Puri Holdings Bhd said it will be undertaking a THB250.59 million (RM35.03 million) project for the I’m Fine Condominium in Bangna, Thailand.

In a filing today, Bina Puri said a joint venture (JV) between its unit Bina Puri Holdings (Thailand) Ltd and WNC Construction Co Ltd has entered into an agreement with a JV company of Fine 22 Properties Co Ltd and Thai Chemical Co Ltd, to effect the contract.

“With the latest award mentioned above, the group’s unbuilt book order stands at RM1.5 billion as at to date.

“The said project is expected to contribute positively to the net assets and earnings of Bina Puri group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2017,” the filing said.

Bina Puri said none of its directors, major shareholders or persons connected with them, have any interests in the matter.

At 12.30pm, Bina Puri fell 1 sen or 2.98% to 32.5 sen, giving it a market capitalisation of RM87.9 million. — theedgemarkets.com
