PUCHONG (Augt 20): TAHPS Group Bhd’s Andira Park phase 1 landed homes at Bukit Puchong, Selangor have been fully taken up over the weekend (Aug 19 and 20).

Andira Park is a low density landed residential development consisting of 140 units of 2- and 3-storey link villas and 3-storey terraced homes. Built-ups for the 2- and 3-storey link villas are 1,583 sq ft and 1,789 sq ft respectively, while the 3-storey terraced houses have a built-up of 2,347 sq ft.

Located at an 8.33 freehold site at the developer's township development of Bukit Puchong, the gated-and-guarded landed stratified development has a gross development value of some RM100 million.

The phase 1 launch this weekend comprises 76 units of 2- and 3-storey link villas. All were sold out by the end of today. Interested buyers had queued up at the sales gallery for the launch since 2am yesterday.

Prices for the 2- and 3-storey link villas are RM686,000 and RM731,000 respectively. However, after rebates offered by the developer, buyers get to own a 2-storey unit at RM618,000 and a 3-storey unit at RM648,000.

Some 82% of the 76 units was sold yesterday while the remaining 14 units of 3-storey link villas were taken up today.

TAHPS Group

According to TAHPS group CEO Eugene Khoo, buyers of Andira Park not only came from the Puchong area but also from other states in the country, such as Penang and Terengganu.

The majority of the buyers bought for self-occupation while some of them bought for investment, he said.

Commenting on the overwhelming response, Khoo said: “I would like to congratulate all the buyers of Andira Park phase 1. We had some disappointed purchasers who either did not manage to secure their preferred units or did not manage to buy a unit. These purchasers are now on the reserve list in case of cancellations.”

“Our customers commented that the atmosphere and the queue on the launch day was akin to queuing for a new model of iPhone,” he told TheEdgeProperty.com.

Based on the response for Andira Park, he believed there is still retail liquidity in the market which is seeking unique value-for-money products.

“What made Andira Park a success is the unique design and attractive pricing. Add on the fact that it is a landed property on freehold land, it is a very appealing purchase,” he said.

“Credit must go to my team who worked tirelessly from conceptual and design stage right up to the launch this weekend, they have worked very hard to ensure that our customers go home happy,” he concluded.
