According to the agent who closed the deal Shawn Fernandez of Fernstate Sdn Bhd, the sellers were   Malaysians while the buyers were foreigners looking for a family home in Malaysia.

“The house had been previously rented out for between RM17,000 and RM18,000,” said Fernandez.  

According to him, residents of Taman Duta can use Jalan Duta and Jalan Mahameru to travel to Kuala Lumpur city centre.

“There are shops on Jalan Langgak Tunku while Publika Shopping Centre is just a six-minute drive away,” he added.

Other freehold houses in the area with similar built-ups and land area sizes have an average asking price of about RM500-550 psf based on land area size .

According to data from TheEdgeProperty.com, the current listings available as at August 2017 showed that the average asking price of detached houses in Taman Duta is RM6.98 million while the average asking rental hovers at around RM16,000.
