KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 22): S P Setia Bhd said one of its projects in Setia Ecohill, Semenyih, has been recognised for quality excellence at the High Qlassic Achievement Awards 2017 organised by the Construction Industry Development Board yesterday.

S P Setia executive vice president Tan Hon Lim received the award at the annual event on behalf of the developer for the Saraca collection, one of the group's maiden projects in Setia Ecohill, according to the group's media statement.

“We are proud to be amongst the top developers who are noted for our delivery of quality products. At Setia, we also always place customer satisfaction at the forefront of the development value chain — from the design, location and build of the property to the quality of service,” said Tan.

The Saraca collection has 91 units of 22x75 ft double-storey terraced homes located amidst the greenery of Setia Ecohill.

Launched in August 2013, S P Setia said all units in the project boasts a built up of 2,065 sq. ft. which attracted buyers from the immediate surrounding areas such as Cheras, Seri Kembangan, Kajang, Bangi and Nilai.

"Those residing in other highly populated urban city areas such as Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam and Puchong were also target buyers. With a GDV of RM64 million, Saraca was completed in October 2016," S P Setia's statement read.

Qlassic assessments are carried out through site inspection and use the principles of first time inspection. Works that are rectified after an assessment will not be re-assessed, so as to encourage the contractor to "Do Things Right the First Time and Every Time".

"We are proud that the Setia brand today is synonymous with strength, reliability and the value creation that we bring to all our developments," said Tan.
