KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 31): Pintaras Jaya Bhd has bagged a RM26.3 million contract to construct and complete the substructure works for one block of apartment and two levels of car park in Mukim Petaling.

Pintaras Jaya said the contract was awarded by privately-owned Maison Rouge Sdn Bhd to its wholly-owned subsidiary Pintaras Geotechnics Sdn Bhd.

Works on the job are expected to start on Sept 12, to be completed in nine months, Pintaras Jaya said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday.

It said the new contract should contribute positively to its future earnings.

Shares of the Main Market-listed Pintaras Jaya slipped 7 sen or 1.72% to close at RM3.99 yesterday, for a market capitalisation of RM658.22 million.— theedgemarkets.com
