SHAH ALAM (Sept 14) : Property developer Sin Hee Yang Property Group has launched four new project phases on Tuesday in conjunction with its Home Ownership Campaign 2017 at the Shah Alam Convention Centre Mall (SACC Mall) this week.

The campaign, which started on Tuesday and will end this Sunday, offers special promotions and rebates for their latest projects, said executive director Loo Chee Yang.

The four projects comprise 20 units of 2-storey terraced homes, 10 units of 1-storey bungalows, 10 units of 1.5-storey bungalows and 76 units of 1-storey semi-detached houses.

Built-ups for the terraced homes start from 1,600 sq ft while the semi-dee units start from 1,350 sq ft.

Meanwhile, the bungalow units have built-ups ranging from 1,800 sq ft to 2,300 sq ft.

Loo told EdgeProp.my that all the four projects are located in Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi and are geared towards aspiring Bumiputera home owners who are looking for affordable landed properties.

“There are still a lot of aspiring homebuyers who are not aware that there are landed properties that are priced below RM500,000.

“Our 1-storey semi-dees are priced from RM498,000 onwards while the 2-storey terraced houses are priced at RM520,000.

Notably, a rebate of up to 10% will be applied on the properties for sale, slashing prices for all the new homes to below RM500,000, except for the bungalows which will be priced from RM1.1 million onwards due to their larger built-up areas.

Interested purchasers need only to fork out a downpayment of RM1,000 to secure their units.

The total gross development value of the four projects are estimated to be RM69 million and is expected to complete between the period of December 2018 to October 2019.

He highlighted that the homes are located just 15 to 20 minutes away from the Express Rail Link, which connects prospective residents to KLIA as well as to areas such as KL Sentral.

“We believe that there is a growing need for affordable homes and we want to provide that to our purchasers. The Bumiputera community comprise of 70% of the total population in Malaysia and we believe that this group of homebuyers are always looking for homes.

“Most of the purchasers for our projects are owner-occupiers who have families. As land gets scarcer in the city centre, people are moving further away to look for other upcoming developments.

“As Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi is located so close to the KLIA, we believe that the people working there will need housing in the vicinity to where their work place is,” he concluded.

Sin Hee Yang Property has undeveloped landbank of more than 250 acres located in Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi, Shah Alam, Kuala Langat and Klang with a GDV of more than RM400 million to be developed over the next 10 years.
